I really like this little hike. It's short but offers good exercise and outstanding views. You can hit this one for a sunrise or a sunset. It's scenic with 360 views. And, the trail itself is easy to follow and does not present any crazy obstacles. For these reasons, I opted for a sunrise hike and actually woke up in time to make it up to the top.

The hike up was the same as always. I know I have been doing too many easy and flat hikes lately as I was huffing and puffing by the time I made it to the top. The clouds looked encouraging for some nice photos. Some lower clouds on the horizon muted some of the colors, but it was a very nice sunrise.

I came across one hiker on the way up and a few hikers on the way down and also met @BEEBEE up top who was contacting other radio operators. Nice to meet you Bill!

I got my pictures and hiked back down. I was home by 730am and started working.
