| no partners | | | #1 of 50 hikes. Today is my 50th birthday! To commemorate this special year, I decided to do 50 hikes! Today was my first hike of the year and I chose to do the City Creek Canyon Trail which is located near the Salt Lake City, Utah capitol building. A snow storm had come through and I was worried my big day was ruined. I geared up and dressed warmly fearing the worst. But I should have known that the Almighty knows how to pull off a perfect day!! It was an extra-bright, gorgeous, and beautiful day for hiking! And for the most part, the trail only saw my footprints in the sparkling, white snow. |
