| no partners | | | #5 of 50 hikes. Gorgeous, sunny day for hiking. Shades were a necessity! Avenue Twin Peaks trail is located in the hills/mountains just north of downtown Salt Lake City that had several intersecting trails. Within a mile you had amazing views of the Wasatch Mountains to the south and the city below. It was quite the snowy climb at some points as the trail led you over the hilltops to the twin peaks. Lots of hikers, mostly with dogs--NONE of which were on leashes, even though posted signs said it was a requirement. Very disappointing. |
