| no partners | | Cathy wanted/needed to get out on a "real" trail and do a bit of "real" hiking before going back into the hospital. It had to be something easy but also with the promise of seeing some water. We started at the P.A. Seitts Trailhead and went north to the eastern spur of the Slate Trail. We turned off and went up to the summit of the Louis Menk Overlook Nature Trail.
We came back down and she had some gas left in the tank so we headed over to the creek to see some water and greenery. The desert is still so dry and in need of rain making it a nice treat to see these riparian areas along Cave Creek. We saw one Jack Rabbit, two horses, and no people on the trails. Anything else with a modicum of interest will be mentioned in the photo captions. |

Wildflowers Observation Isolated Brittlebush, Hedgehog, and Creosote was about it. The saguaros are just starting to pop. |
