| no partners | | Lynne and I visited #1 son in Prescott and decided to take a little roadtrip up north rather than head straight back to Mesa. So, up and over Mingus Mtn. to Jerome, lunch at Biffs Burger Station in Cottonwood and then up to Red Rock Crossing.
We arrived at the Crescent Moon Picnic area about 3:30pm, but we’re turned away as the lot was full. So, Plan B, we drove around to the other side and accessed the creek via the Baldwin Trailhead. The traffic through Sedona was really bad.
The crowd at the crossing was not as bad as I expected, but still busy. We explored the area and took some pictures. Just as the sun was setting, all of the people magically disappeared and I was able to get a few “people-less” shots.
This place is popular and too busy for me, but we still love to come here. Next time, I want to come here with the snow or with fall colors. We’ll see |
