Spent Friday night at the Lodge.
Lounged around Saturday morning until checkout time. Scored my lifer Red-breasted Sapsucker, which hadn't been seen for about ten days, but kindly returned and posed nicely for me.
Amazing lunch at Stables Grill at the Tubac Golf Resort, followed by a bit of birding around the golf course and the lovely resort grounds.
Then we drove all the way up Mt. Hopkins, took a short hike up there and stopped to show Chris the sweat lodge down in Montosa Canyon.
Short but sweet little weekend getaway.
