Hit the trail just after 5pm. The majority of the people at the trailhead were high schoolers having photos taken in their prom dresses or graduation gowns.
I had the trail to myself for the most part. Cloud cover and a mild breeze made the 90 degree temperature a non factor.
Wildflowers are mostly done, but the prickly stuff is coming along nicely.
