Got started from the See Canyon trailhead around 0745 with Bruce & Chris. East on Highline. Lots of dried mud on the trail, must’ve been a mess a couple of weeks ago. Up Drew Trail. I always like ascending Drew thanks to the mostly moderate incline.

Once up top, we walked thru the campground to Carr Trail. Nothing exciting there. Carr & General Crook are just a walk thru the pines. Lots of downed trees. Cool breeze. I was happy to see some clouds forming.

Descended See Canyon, which was in relatively decent condition—better than the last time I was on it. Two tiny patches of snow near the top. A couple of water crossings lower down. One little boy gave me a flower, cute. More clouds made for some nice intermittent shade. Only really saw other hikers once below See Spring.

Nice easy hike, good conversation and banter.
