Morning hike at Deem Hills. Got on the trail a little after 5am. Short loop. Went in on the Water Tank, touched the gate and then headed back to the Palisade and then went south on the Circumference to the Basalt Trail. Took the Basalt down off the saddle to reconnect to the Circumference and used that to wrap around the north side of the hill to return to the TH. Quite a few on the trails today…primarily on the Water Tank Trail. A paved path to a water tank. Go figure. Did encounter 12 all together, three on actual trails. 10 of the people I saw today were runners
