A few months ago, I heard about a new self guided Irish Geology tour on Picacho and decided to check it out. After the third station, I tuned out the guide. No mention of de-gassed magma or Pre-Cambrian. It was Andesite Volcanic this and Lava rock that. 23 million years ago, volcanoes erupted blah,blah, blah. No mention of Charlie brown sweater paterns. Driving time was longer then the hike but still enjoyable.
