| no partners | | | Today we finally made an attempt to gain elevation on a hike. We had been doing mostly flat or minimal elevation gain hikes, so climbing a small mountain today was pretty tough. We didn't turn around and didn't stop and made it all the way to the top. YAY! There were a lot of people out today. I found that it is not a whole lot of fun hiking a trail with 50 other people you don't know. Regardless, it was still satisfying and gratifying to make it to the top even though we had to huff and puff our way there. Not planning to do that particular hike again soon, more for the amount of people than the climb though. |
