We were up really early and I was excited to attempt the "2 to 4 peaks." =) After our last outing, I was expecting 11+ hrs of adventure. Unfortunately, we were snowed out but we ended up playing in the snow instead. We started up Brown's Peak, but we didn't have adequate apparel. The snow was making our fingers sting and it was melting into our shoes. Part of the way up we decided that the risk might not to worth the fall. Climbing conditions were slick and may not have been optimal with numb fingers and toes...
I was a quite bummed.
I cheered up very quickly when we went to the old amethyst mine. I get SO excited about the simple things, for me it was all of the purple crystals, apparently for Joe, it was the 20yr old abandoned lawn lounger found outside the mine. (see photo :))
We finished by taking the scenic route back to the truck.

I am now attempting to navigate, post, reply (etc..) this site with only an iPhone… Wish me luck!
