Took the dad pass for father's day and paid a visit to the superstitions. I had not hiked here since college, so it was nice to return. Never thought I'd be hiking this trail in JUNE! Trail was not as crowded as I remember, but that was probably due to the warm temps. Went about a mile past the saddle to get a closer view of the needle. Then when I returned to the saddle I climbed up to the highest boulder above the saddle and chilled for a bit. The breeze and views were excellent, and I felt some solitude from the hikers down below at the saddle.
