I headed more south west than east and never found massacre falls, seeng that it was barley visible 25 ft in front of me. Finally soaked, beaten and bruised I returned home. On sat the 23rd all was calm (some snow falling on the high peaks) and headed to massacre. This trip is a must for any level, and there is SO much more to explore than first thought. After a great rainfall, this turns into a whole new world. For photography the falls are amazing, but hard to translate to photo. Its much bigger than I thought. It was loud, flowing strong and amazingly serene.I waited for the sunset, took my shots and headed back in the dark. Great day! |
