Either way I stood at the tippy top. I didn't get to enjoy the view as much though cause my better half declared the summit to be just below the hoodoos. She had a really rough with this hike. She still has some residual breathing problems from getting sick last weekend. Quite a bit of traffic on the trail today, probably saw 20 people compared to seeing nobody a couple weeks ago going to Robbers Roost. Talked to one couple who said they were scouting for a upcoming ridgeline hike. After today, a ridgeline attempt might be aways away for us yet.
Definitely a tough hike we made it out just a bit of yellow from west and with what to me was the brightest moon coming up from the east that I have ever seen. Very beautiful. |
