After doing our 'Adopt a Trail' on Monday, we have a 'reward hike' for the volunteers who worked to maintain the Terrapin Trail off the Peralta trail head. Our group worked hard on a nearly 12 mile hike clearing the Terrapin trail of encroaching vegetation on Monday, climbing Cardiac hill among many other climbs to reach our maintenance objective. Our 'reward' is a Hog Canyon Hike. None of our hikers done this hike before, so there enthusiasm was high was we began from the west end Cloudview Road. It was a humid day and all of our hikers had great satisfaction at the end of the hike to see the area seldom seen, because of it's remote location. A big 'thank you' for the hikers for their commitment in maintaining Tonto National forest trail system.
