Wanted do a quickie before my ten hour shift today. Got up early and reached the trailhead at about 7:15. Took my time getting back to the escarpment and even took a little side excursion down the powerlines. Now this isn't a long hike at all so when I got to the escarpment I spent a bunch of time scurrying about and looking at stuff. I even found a nice boulder on which to eat a snack and stare up at the tops of the aspens. It was a really beautiful hike, I'll definitely come back for the fall colors. Drove the extra two miles up to Snow Bowl to snap a couple shots before heading back into town.
