| no partners | | | Did a 5 mile walk with the dogs. Got to HB Wallace Preserve and it looked pretty dry so we hopped on Castle Rock trail that according to the map rises 612 feet in .37 mile. Seem about right lots of switchbacks. Teddy Roosevelt’s Vice President Wallace owned this property and had a couple Summer cabins on which no longer exist. Apparently, Grandson HB developed this as a preserve. Another nice little gem in the neighborhood. Has connector trails that connect to dome of the more popular trails in Green Mountain Falls. |
