| no partners | | | Sarrah had a three day weekend and we were leaning toward Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Called up some friends we haven’t seen in awhile and they suggested camping in Washington Gulch which is beyond their new home and no longer dispersed, but free and managed by the forest service. We thought we would stay a night and head to Black Canyon if the Gunnison, but ended up staying the whole weekend. Brent and I did Gothic Peak yesterday. We hiked up to a lake and spent an afternoon paddling and hung out at night around a campfire. Their kids are a little older, but they all got along great! Rained a little, but temps were great! |
