| no partners | | It was a wildlife morning for me; well actually a birding morning. Saw a few hikers going, none on the way back. Clockwise to Lookout Park swinging over to the far east side and through the dirt circles which I figured out may be for bikes. I looped around the Park until I saw colorful birds in a tree. Lovebirds, very cool. I pointed them out to some other walkers.
After I re-watered my cooling towel, I headed back around the park and onto the trail where I spotted two roadrunners frolicking. Oh, I also saw two rabbits. I talked to them in my wee animal voice so they wouldn't run off.
WATCH 2.57 mil, 7:13-8:24AM burning 308 calories, 1468-1631 elevation. 127 avg bpm/155 max. Temp 82.3 full sun, slight breeze and 29% humidity.
Nicer hike for me today than Sunday. Maybe the cooling towel helped actually keep me cool. I use it on my hood walks as well; one of which I did yesterday evening 1.43 mi, 7:07-7:33PM burning 149 calories. 3.4mph, 115 avg bpm/124 max with temp of 96.7 shade and 15% humidity. |

For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled. |
