Finally.

And boy am I out of practice. Forgot my water bottle on kitchen counter (always have spare water in trunk), forgot my sunglasses, and forgot to set my watch for the hike until going up the hill.

Some person was tooting a bellowing horn on the side of the mountain as I was getting ready. Fortunately, it didn't last long, but now that I look back on it, maybe the horn announcement was "she's back"

Changed my route a bit taking advantage of the shade... still a tad humid. Quite a few folks out.

Gained weight on my Upper Miss River Cruise a few weeks back so hopefully being back on the trail will help me shed those booze pounds.
