I wanted to re-familiarize myself with the trail going up the canyon and do a little poking around. Very windy on the way in at 9:30! Went as far as the first set of "falls" and looked for a way over to the slick rock area below Peak 4546 on the Hog/Hiero ridgeline. Looks like it could be really cool but the brush was too thick and I was short on time. Gonna need to find a better way across next time! Got back to the glyphs around 1:30 and was surprised to find nobody there!! So I took the opportunity to get close-ups of all the petroglyphs which I had never done in all the times I've been there! Didn't see anyone heading in until I was near the boundary gate!!
