| no partners | | Decided to try this close to home loop trail today before the rains came. I was pleasantly surprised. I started from Clarks Creek Park near the tennis courts. A good portion of the trail is devoid of any city noise so it does feel like you're out in nature and not in a city park. Well signed junctions for the most part. My only miss was hanging a left (south) onto 14th street on the way back so I ended up doing a little more street walking and coming back into Clarks Creek Park off of 7th Ave SW. My GPS clocked it at just over 5 miles which made for a nice morning walk. Lots of flowers out along the trail today. For once the rain waited until I was back at the car. |
