| no partners | | | Arrived at Paradise around 10AM to bluebird conditions! Road to Paradise was almost completely dry -- the only spot with a little frost was at the bridge and parking area near Kautz Creek. We did a loop from Paradise walking down the Paradise Valley Road to Inspiration Point and on to Reflection Lakes. From the lakes we took the Lakes trail to the junction with the Mazama Ridge trail and took it up toward Paradise. We didn't see anybody along Mazama Ridge until we were almost at the junction with the 4th crossing trail. That even included a nice 30 minute lunch break with a killer view. Couldn't believe we had the place to ourselves! Took the 4th crossing trail down to the Paradise Valley road and followed it back to Paradise. Just over 7 miles. |
